Druckmann did say that the stand-alone multiplayer game will be as big as the developer\u2019s single-player games, \u201cand in some ways bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p >\u201cIt\u2019s got a story. The way we\u2019re telling the story is very unique to this game,\u201d Druckmann said. \u201cIt has a brand-new cast of characters. It takes place in another part of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p >No release date was given, but Druckmann said more information will come next year. <\/p>\n<p ><em>The Last of Us<\/em><em> Part 2<\/em> was originally announced with a multiplayer component, like the first game.
