According to a new report from XDA-Developers<\/i>, Google’s next a-Series smartphone may not have one of the camera features introduced with the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Motion Mode is a combination of machine learning and multiframe capture. It creates a blurred background that highlights a subject. <\/p>\n

As per XDA-Developers<\/i>, developer Kuba Wojciechowski discovered in the code showing Pixel Tips pertaining to Motion Mode, the Pixel 6a’s codename “bluejay” explicitly excludes mention of Motion Mode. <\/p>\n

Although the Pixel 6a will reportedly use the same Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6 duo, it is expected that the unreleased mid-range Google smartphone will use the camera setup from the Pixel 5a, including a 12. 2MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide snapper. This may indicate that the older 12. 2MP sensor from previous Pixels won’t be compatible with this feature. <\/p>\n

Pixel 6a render<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Google Pixel 6a is expected to bear resemblance to the Google Pixel 6 and will be powered by the Google Tensor chipset. It will also have a 6. 2-inch OLED display. It will feature the old camera sensors to keep the cost of the middle-range Pixels lower, as mentioned previously. <\/p>\n

The Google Pixel 6a is expected to arrive sometime in the next several weeks. Chances are that it may be announced during Google’s I\/O conference, taking place on May 11-12 with an availability date of July 28. Other rumors suggest Google may be teasing the Pixel Watch during the same event. <\/p>\n
